Use What You Have – Part 1

Everyday we are bombarded with invitations to buy more, get more, be more….The appeals are endless.   Today, go against the grain and stop to consider which of your resources, talents and opportunities you have not fully utilized.  Instead of going to the grocery store or fast food restaurant, use what you have in your refrigerator, freezer and cabinets to create a meal.   Instead of buying a new clothing item at the mall, mix and match what you have in your closet to create new looks.   And what about those talents and abilities you haven’t fully explored?   Write something today from that meaningful moment that happened last week.  Remember the funny thing your child said today?  Write it down.   You may end up with a nifty collection of fun things to read.
